Training

Reina Sofía High School of Music: Postgraduate studies of viola (with D. Benyamini, R.Hillyer, E. Santiago and G. Caussé) and chamber music (with P.Farulli and M. Gulyas). Fellow of the IEA, Fundación I. Albéniz and Ministry of Education and Culture. (1992-1995).

Ghildhall School of Music & Drama: AGSM with Professors M.Knigth and T.Dalton. Grant of the European Community. (1990-1992).

Conservatori Superior of Music of València with the professor Juan Luís Martínez. (1982-1989).

 

Artistic Experience

Viola soloist of the Orchestra of the Community of Madrid (1998 to present).

Member of the Orchestra of Cadaqués (1991 to present).

Viola soloist in Orquesta de Cámara Andrés segovia (1998-2015).

Viola soloist in Chamber Orchestra Joaquín Rodrigo (1998-1999).

Viola soloist in Atelier Gombau (2014 until today).

Viola soloist in the Jonde (1989-1993).

Viola at Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra (1990).

Viola in septet La Maestranza, group with which it has recordings for Deutsche Gramophon and Harmonia Mundi (1995-2017).

Viola in Picasso quartet, with which he has recordings for RNE (1998-2001).

Viola in Sartory Camera, string sextet (2000-2010).

Viola in Dúo Martín / Segovia -viola / piano- (2012-present).

Viola in Ducio Sartory with I. Martín (1998-present).

Viola in Violent Trio -flauta, harp and viola- (2011-present).

He has acted as soloist with the Orcam and has released works for viola solo and for viola and piano in the chamber music cycles organized by the same orchestra.

Teacher of viola in summer courses (Alburquerque and Jarandilla de la Vera) organized by the Superior Conservatory of Music of Badajoz (1994-1998).
